The American Society of Civil Engineers' (ASCE) National Capital Chapter has selected the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission's new Bi-County Water Tunnel as the Project of the Year. “The Bi-County Water Tunnel Project is an example of fantastic engineering and the critical role it plays in everyday life. It is also a testament to the importance of infrastructure investment as well as our Capital Improvements Program,” said Carla A. Reid, WSSC GM/CEO.

Nobis provided full-time civil inspection and administrative support to the construction management team led by McMillen Jacobs Associates.

Congratulations to WSSC's project manager, John Mitchell, PE, as well as the entire CM team and the design team which was led by Black & Veatch
