Nobis is the prime contractor for a 5-year cost reimbursable IDIQ Remedial Action Contract to remediate multiple hazardous waste sites throughout New England. Nobis has prepared a program work plan for the USEPA to describe the overall project organization and general work approach for the performance or remedial activities for Operable Unit 1 (OU1), the Groundwater Contamination Source Area at the Eastland Woolen Mill Superfund Site.

Nobis was responsible to conduct multiple NTCRA and Remedial Design/Remedial Action at the Eastland Woolen Mill Superfund Site. Releases of chlorinated benzene DNAPL occurred and resulted in significant impacts to local groundwater, soil, and bedrock, including local water supplies.
