Nobis delineated the wetland boundaries on the basis of hydrophytic vegetation, hydric soils and wetland hydrology in accordance with the techniques outlined in the Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual Y-87-1, (January 1987) and subsequent updates. The hydric soils component of the delineations were in accordance with the manual Field Indicators for Identifying Hydric Soils in New England (Version 2, July 1998), published by the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission.

Labeled flagging identified the wetland boundaries. Each boundary determination was documented by at least one transect, consisting of two data points recorded on the most recent wetland delineation data sheets, as distributed by the New England District of the US Army Corps of Engineers. A report was provided summarizing our findings.
