The Rockhouse Mountain Property Owners Association (RMPOA) Community Water System serves approximately 55 year-round residences and 45 seasonal residences, and may serve up to 160 residences in the future. The system has experienced waste supply shortages, apparently due to a combination of declining well yields, peak water usage, and water system leaks. Nobis was selected by the RMPOA to provide professional hydrogeologic services for water system improvements for the Community Water System that services RMPOA. Nobis’ goal was to provide a reliable, potable water supply capable of meeting at least the agreed upon requirement at build-out and to comply with New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) regulations. This has included determining the sustainable yield for existing Wells #1, #2, and #3, and testing and permitting a new Well #4. Wetland permitting is also included. Nobis is working closely with RMPOA and NHDES.
